Before founding Bella Figura, Alexi Cory-Smith was President of BMG UK, where she led the publishing and recordings business for seven years. During that time, UK revenues grew from £5.9m to £125m, and she was closely involved in building and acquiring some of the company’s most important catalogues. She personally led landmark relationships with artists including The Rolling Stones and Roger Waters, helping establish BMG as one of the world’s leading music companies.

At Bella Figura, Alexi now leads strategy, acquisitions and long-term partnerships, guided by a clear set of values centred on authenticity, good judgement and care for the music and the people behind it.

Alexi Cory-Smith

Alexi Cory-Smith is the Founder of Bella Figura Music, an independent music company that acquires and manages successful music catalogues with a focus on long-term value and artistic integrity.

Before Bella Figura Music, Neelesh Prabhu co-led BMG’s global investments and M&A function, overseeing teams in Berlin, Los Angeles, New York and London. Responsibilities included valuation, negotiation and execution of acquisitions at both UK and group level while supporting BMG’s leadership and Bertelsmann’s board. Today at Bella Figura, Neelesh works closely with Alexi on strategy, acquisitions and long-term partnerships.

Neelesh Prabhu

Prior to Bella Figura Music, Neelesh ran BMG’s global investments / M&A department looking after teams in Berlin, LA, NYC and London. 

Co-founder

Gary brings a deep, global network across the music industry and is a trusted adviser to many of the world’s leading artists. He previously spent eight years as President of Global Touring at AEG, having earlier served as President of Global Talent. Before AEG, Garyfounded and led The Artists Organization, working closely with artists including Lenny Kravitz, Portugal The Man and John Legend.

Earlier in his career, he was CEO of Capitol Records and an A&R executive at DGC Records, where he signed artists such as Nirvana and Sonic Youth. 
 
At Bella Figura, Gary works closely with Alexi and Neelesh with the same experience, relationships and care that have defined his career.
